Here we are, in the heart of Finland. It’s not an impossible distance to get here from anywhere. The airport and the train station are almost next door. The buses run and you can get to all destinations by your own car. Welcome!

By Car. Halsua, Kaustinen, Lestijärvi, Toholampi and Veteli are well connected by road. Highway 13, national roads 63 and 58 and regional roads 751 and 775 all intersect in the Kaustinen sub-region.

By Bus. There are daily bus routes from Kokkola to Kaustinen, Veteli and Toholampi.

By Train. The nearest railway stations are located in Kokkola (45km from Kaustinen) and Kannus (24km from Toholampi). From Kokkola you can take the bus to various places in the Kaustinen sub-region.

By Plane. The nearest airport, Kokkola-Pietarsaari Airport, is located in Kruunupyy about half an hour's drive from Kaustinen.
